Stop Violence Against Women

"Your free click generates donations from our sponsors. You may click once a day, every day. 100% of the donations raised go directly to Amnesty International to end the systematic violation of women's basic human rights."

Stop Violence Against Women is a simple click-to-give charity website that aims to end the horrible violence against women around the world. According to the article "10 Best Creative Charity Websites" (which is a good read, by the way):

"Violence against women in cultures throughout the world seems to be an ever-growing problem. The website provides a button that you click that donates money so that women are able to write and send letters, explaining their abuse and situation in hopes for the problem to come to the forefront."

The website is created and run by the Care2 social network for activists around the world. Care2 pays for the charitable donations by running ads on their page, the entire revenue of which goes to Amnesty International, an organization whose mission is, "to conduct research and generate action to prevent and end grave abuses of human rights, and to demand justice for those whose rights have been violated."

Donating to Amnesty through the Care2 site is totally free, and takes literally seconds. All you have to do is visit the website, click the big button in the middle of the page, and you're done! You can do this every day, which means your donations can really stack up and make a difference.

Who knows? You could be saving the life of a woman somewhere in the world right now. So what are you waiting for?
